Job description

  • Public Relations: You develop and execute a forward-thinking media and PR strategy that builds trust, positions the company as a climate innovation leader, and protects its reputation in complex stakeholder environments.

  • Crisis Communication: You act as the first responder and escalation point for reputation-critical events, designing and managing strategic responses to media scrutiny, regulatory inquiries, or public criticism, particularly on sensitive climate-related topics.

  • Internal&External Communications: You align internal messaging with external narratives, ensuring consistency and clarity across teams, geographies, and communication platforms, while serving as a communication partner to the CEO and leadership team.

  • Branding: You own and evolve the brand strategy, ensuring that the visual identity, tone of voice, and positioning reflect company values and differentiation. You lead branding and rebranding efforts aligned with strategic goals, oversee impactful brand activations, thought leadership events, and industry presence, and shape end-to-end storytelling around key milestones such as product launches, partnerships, or fundraising.

  • Agencies: You select, brief, and manage external communication and branding agencies, ensuring their performance, alignment, and strategic integration into broader business objectives.

  • Leadership: You lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of approximately eight full-time employees across communications, PR, brand, and content, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and mission-driven team culture.

You possess brand strategy and brand-building experience and are skilled at crafting and delivering compelling messaging for a range of audiences including investors, regulators, media, customers, and the public.

  • Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: You thrive in high-pressure and cross-functional environments, maintaining calm and focus during challenging situations such as media leaks or internal crises. You are a proactive team player who integrates smoothly into high-performing teams and intuitively understands organizational needs with 95% of requirements already met.
