Job description

  • User Support: You act as a primary point of contact for our user's providing availability by phone, email, and walk-in in our IT support office.

  • Issue Resolution: You address and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues, ensuring that users receive timely, effective, and reliable support that keeps their systems running smoothly.

  • Operational Reliability & Support Oversight: You ensure reliable, continuous, and smooth IT operations while overseeing the support service by instructing, guiding, and assisting users.

  • System Administration: You are in the realm of IT System Administration, where your responsibilities include operating, controlling, monitoring, and maintaining IT services and tools essential for smooth operations. You may also collaborate with external service providers to ensure comprehensive support.

  • Process Optimization: You scale up process optimizations involving the continual documentation and refinement of processes within your specified area of responsibility.

  • Device Setup & Onboarding: You set up new devices and help with the onboarding of new Climeworkers.

Job requirements

  • Educational Background: You have completed a degree or are currently pursuing one, with a specialization in IT or a related field. Candidates with apprenticeship training are also encouraged to apply. Experience working in an IT organization or a closely related environment is a plus.

  • Certification: You possess a Microsoft MS-900 certification, or you're willing to obtain it.

  • Working style: You've demonstrated your ability to work effectively in IT operations, and your work is characterized by its cleanliness, structure, and reliability.

  • Collaboration: You collaborate effectively across IT and business units and confidently handle complex requests and environments.

  • Communication: You communicate fluently in English, ensuring clear, precise, and professional interactions with team members and stakeholders across the organization.

What we offer:

At Climeworks, our six-month internships offer a hybrid work setup, giving you flexibility while ensuring valuable collaboration by working onsite at least four days per week. To maintain fairness, we follow a standardized salary process based on market benchmarks. For our internships based in Switzerland, the compensation is:

  • During BSc & MSc: CHF 2,000 per month

  • After completion of MSc: CHF 2,500 per month
