Job description
Plant Safety & Compliance: You maintain a safe and compliant plant operation, fostering a safety culture without compromises.
Data Analysis & Improvement Projects: You analyze Orca & Mammoth plant data to gain knowledge at the forefront and to design, execute, and validate improvement projects.
Root Cause Investigations: You conduct investigations to identify root causes of Orca & Mammoth plant process and performance issues and implement solutions.
Performance Reporting: You report daily on key performance indicators (KPIs) for Orca & Mammoth plant systems, including OEE, energy efficiency, and operating cost.
Process & Tools Maintenance: You maintain required processes, tools, and models that support successful Orca & Mammoth plant operations.
Operational Support: You support the plant operations team on a day-to-day basis with process knowledge to improve plant performance and safety.
Job requirements
Education & Experience: You have a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in process or chemical engineering and at least 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent practical knowledge in plant operation and maintenance within the process engineering industry.
Technical Expertise: You have a solid understanding of process engineering design, operation, and maintenance, including experience in scale-up and first-of-its-kind environments, with a willingness to deepen your expertise. You have developed and maintained process simulations and designed and deployed engineering improvements to processes and running plants.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: You are a proactive problem solver applying first principles and root cause analysis techniques. You are data-driven, able to process large datasets to extract meaningful insights, and experienced in developing and reporting KPIs.
Collaboration & Communication: You share knowledge openly, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively across departments to build strong internal networks.
Language Skills & Travel: You are business fluent in English and willing to travel up to 40%.

Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
