Job description

  • Transport coordination: You coordinate the operational execution of all transports (export, import, cross-trades) and serve as the first point of contact for logistics and customs topics. 

  • Dangerous goods management: You manage the end-to-end logistics process for Dangerous Goods (UN3088), ensuring compliance with international and local regulations, and support the development of DG handling guidelines while training colleagues on compliance topics. 

  • Customs and documentation: You handle tariff classification, origin verification, customs documents, and preference calculations, while ensuring accurate maintenance of logistics data and documents in ERP systems. 

  • Process optimization: You optimize freight costs and logistics processes while maintaining high safety and quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement projects and strategic logistics planning. 

  • Collaboration and support: You work closely with the warehouse team, contribute occasionally to warehouse operations, and execute logistics activities within projects. 

Job requirements

  • Background: You have completed an education in logistics, transport, or supply chain and bring 3–5 years of experience in international transport across all modes (air/sea/road). 

  • Expertise: You have knowledge in handling dangerous goods, a strong understanding of both commercial and technical aspects of logistics, and are proficient in MS Office. 

  • Work style: You approach your work with precision and structure, while remaining resilient and reliable under pressure. At the same time, you bring a proactive mindset and adapt flexibly to changing needs, ensuring tasks are handled efficiently and effectively. 

  • Collaboration: You are a strong communicator in English with excellent social skills; You thrive in teamwork, and bring a strong customer and service orientation

Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.

  • This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, and we ask that you work onsite at least three days per week.
