Job description

  • Content & channel management: You support the creation, publishing, and maintenance of content across internal channels such as the intranet, screens, internal brand portal and Engage communities to help employees stay informed. 

 

  • Internal campaigns & storytelling: You contribute to internal campaigns related to values and culture, helping turn complex topics into accessible and engaging communication. 

 

  • Employee communications: You help draft and coordinate employee announcements with stakeholders across the company.  

 

  • Internal formats: You support the planning, coordination, and technical set-up of company-wide formats and employee engagement initiatives – from learning sessions to socials. 

 

  • Insights & continuous improvement: You track channel reach and employee understanding, identify gaps, and help improve communication effectiveness over time.

Job requirements

  • Educational background: You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications or a closely related field; candidates with a background in people & culture or sociology are also encouraged to apply. 

 

  • Writing & editing skills: You have strong written and verbal skills and can adapt content for different internal channels and audiences. 

 

  • Language skills: You are fluent in English. You enjoy working in an international, interdisciplinary environment. 

 

  • Digital tool confidence: You are comfortable using collaboration and publishing tools such as SharePoint and Teams. Familiarity with the tools Canva, ScreenCloud and Cloudinary are beneficial. Video editing experience is also a plus. 

 

  • Self-starter attitude: Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable taking ownership of defined tasks. 

 

  • Organized & detailoriented: You work in a structured and reliable manner, paying close attention to detail while maintaining a proactive, hands‑on mindset.

What we offer:

The duration of this internship is 10 months. Ideal start date is July 1st, 2026

At Climeworks, our internships offer a hybrid work setup, giving you flexibility while ensuring valuable collaboration by working onsite at least three days per week. To maintain fairness, we follow a standardized salary process based on market benchmarks. 

For our internships based in Switzerland, the compensation is: 

  • During BSc & MSc: CHF 2,000 per month 

  • After completion of MSc: CHF 2,500 per month
