Job description
HR Operations: You deliver reliable, compliant and efficient HR Operations services for our workforce in Switzerland and abroad, across the full employee lifecycle, including contract management, onboarding/offboarding, leave and absence administration, reference letters, lifecycle changes and related HR cases.
HR Data Management: You ensure employee records in Abacus (HRIS) are always up to date and reflect all organizational changes.
Employee Support: You support employees in person and via our ticketing system, ensuring timely and service‑oriented responses.
HR Process Ownership: You oversee and update core HR processes to ensure full compliance with labor law and internal policies, covering lifecycle‑related workflows.
HR Tools Management: You work confidently with various tools, such as Abacus, ServiceNow, Docusign, Outlook and SharePoint and create/manage purchase requisition requests in SAP.
Learning & Development Support: You manage the monthly onboarding program, and support administration for our leadership trainings (locations, communication, invoices).
Job requirements
Educational background: You completed a commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) and hold further HR education (e.g., Federal Diploma in Human Resources).
Swiss HR expertise: You have solid knowledge of Swiss labor law, social insurances and HR administration practices in Switzerland.
HR Lifecycle & Technology Proficiency: You bring hands‑on experience across end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, are proficient with various HR tools (e.g., Abacus), and demonstrate strong MS Office and overall digital skills.
Service & Precision: You bring a strong service‑oriented and solution‑focused mindset, paired with excellent communication, attention to detail, and a structured, reliable working style, especially when handling confidential data.
Team collaboration: You collaborate effectively across functions and support colleagues proactively.
Language skills: You are fluent in German and English.

Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
Formalities:
This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, and we ask that you work onsite at least three days per week.
The percentage in the job title means flexibility – choose full-time or part-time based on what works for you.
